CurdBee is a free online service that lets you organize, create and send invoices to clients for payment via both PayPal and Google Checkout.

Now, the CurdBee team has released an update to the free billing service, as well as a new paid PRO version.

Making Invoicing Easier

I’ve been using CurdBee to invoice clients for several months and I’ve really enjoyed using it.

It makes my life a lot easier. I can work up an invoice, send it and allow my clients to pay by credit card, PayPal or Google Checkout. They can even print and mail payments. I can do all this through CurdBee without having to create different invoices in PayPal, Google Checkout, OpenOffice.org etc.

The folks at CurdBee have just released an update to their service, as well as a new paid version (CurdBee PRO at $5 USD/month).

New Features

In addition to the features previously offered, CurdBee has added new options and features such as :

  • Track activities and actions via a new dashboard and/or RSS feed
  • Export invoice list in CSV
  • Custom emails and notifications *
  • SSL encryption *
  • Dedicated support *
  • Manage and edit common invoice items

  • Send acknowledgments of payments *
  • Send payment reminders for overdue bills *

  • Unbranded invoices and emails (removes CurdBee branding from invoices) *

Improved User Interface

Even though the former CurdBee user interface was simple and easy to use, new additions and improvements make it even easier to find the information you’re looking for.

  • Streamlined interface makes using CurdBee faster
  • Filter invoices by client, invoice number or status
  • Filter clients by client name, address or email

Additional Add-on Modules

For an additional $5/month, you can add additional feature modules to your CurdBee account:

  • Create and Manage Estimates
    When you want to invoice a client, then you can turn the estimate into an invoice to send through CurdBee
  • Recurring Billing
    Send automatic invoices on a recurring basis
  • 2CO Payment Gateway
    Adds the 2Checkout payment gateway to CurdBee
