This is a quick post for all you ExpressionEngine, WordPress, Movable Type, Drupal and Serendipity users out there.

EEHowTo posted about Using BlogDesk With ExpressionEngine to add entries and edit existing entries without having to be logged into the control panel.

BlogDesk is a free, desktop app for Windows (sorry everyone else… if I get it working in Linux, I’ll post about it).

This would be great for clients who don’t want to log into the control panel (or for those clients YOU don’t want logging into the control panel).

Another benefit is that you can work on your posts offline if, say, you’re somewhere that doesn’t have an internet connection. Then you can upload the posts when you’re ready.

I plan to test it with WordPress and ExpressionEngine and see how it works. Look for a post soon about BlogDesk. Check out the BlogDesk tutorial series:
