When I think of Edgar Rice Burroughs, I think of the art of Frank Frazetta.

I loved reading Tarzan, the Pelucidar series and other Edgar Rice Burroughs’ books. My Dad had a bunch of old Tarzan and other ERB books and I used to love looking at the cover art and illustrations.

Many of the illustrations and cover art paintings for Burroughs’ books in the 60’s and 70’s were done by Frank Frazetta.

Frank Frazetta’s work falls mostly in the fantasy genre. His paintings and illustrations are rough and full of energy. I also love the choice of colors.
