Make Your Own Tilt-Shift Lens
Previously, I wrote about different TV shows that use the tilt-shift effect.
Tilt-shift is basically a visual effect where you distort an image by reducing its perceived depth of field.
This can be used, for instance, to make a normal photo look like it’s a miniature–a very interesting effect.
Photojojo shows you 2 methods for making a tilt-shift lens for your camera using plumbing supplies.
A regular commercial tilt-shift lens is rather pricey, so you can either use Photoshop to create a tilt-shift effect, or use Photojojo’s tutorials and make your own lens.
